Job Description:

To enhance the efficiency of our client’s development, testing, and release processes, Ciber is looking to fill a Build Master/Scripter position. To excel in this position you must be passionate about software quality and an advocate for good processes and best practices. You must be comfortable in a highly collaborative environment, using both onsite and offshore resources for continuous build team coverage. You enjoy the daily challenges associated with enterprise-level software development in support of a highly sophisticated application portfolio. Experience in using, developing and updating Jenkins build scripts is desired. You must possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn about the industry and client requirements.

• Skills:

• Experience with software version control tools (Git, Team Foundataion Server)
o Experience in Git has more value, TFS is a plus
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools  AntHill Pro, Jenkins.
• Must have strong scripting skills and experience with Jenkins tool.
o Maven, Python, Jython, and Perl experience is good but not required
o Experience reading AntHill Pro scripts is required (does not need to be an expert scripter in this tool)
• Must have used build automation tools within a complex environment with large interdependent projects/applications.
• Expereience in multi-tier application architecture, configuration and deployment
o Experience with MQ Series, Java/J2EE and .Net technologies
• Operating Systems: Linux and Windows
• Databases: MS SQL Server, Oracle
• Web-Application servers (Websphere, Tomcat, JBoss, etc)
• Experience with server (VMWare, Xen, etc.), Service Virtualization Software (CA Lisa, HP Service Virtualization, Parasoft Virtualize, etc.) and concepts
• A strong ability to work as a contributing team member. Must be unafraid to display inititative and innovation.
• Ability to work well under pressure and can handle general server, software, build or configuration issues in a systematic manner.
• Passion for learning new technologies and techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Willing to perform on-call duty
• Strong analytical skills, Strong Trouble Shooting skills, organized and detail-oriented; self-directed excellent teamwork ability.
