We are looking for  Network Test Lead with IP networking @ NJ immediately

Role: Network Test Lead with IP networking

Location: Middletown, NJ

Duration: 3+ Months

Job Description:

(v4 and v6), SNMP, IP networking protocols with python

• Coordinate with other stakeholders
• Responsibility and representation of activities for the team.
• Excellent people skills and ability to work independently on complex projects
• Strong Tier 4 problem and troubleshooting/diagnosis and resolution experience.
• Extensive knowledge/experience with various protocols/architectures (Python, OpenStack, SNMP) wrt implementation, interworking, troubleshooting, and support
• Requires knowledge/experience of IP networking (v4 and v6), SNMP, IP networking protocols, Open Stack, Python, Yang, NATing, ACLs, SSL/TLS, SIP,VLANs and Routing protocols in the troubleshooting and support realms
• Unix Skills and Experience with gathering, analyzing, and troubleshooting complex network
• Strong communications skills ,good project management and record keeping skills are required
• Knowledge of quality/bug tracking systems (i.e. Quality Center, TMATS) and testing processes
• Testing and field support after hours may be needed 

The End to End Certification will involve deep understanding of all the components of eCOMP and various event flows under different conditions.

The candidate will be responsible to test and certify for various triggered events.

After certification, the engineer will be responsible for end to end NVT in the production for eCOMP.

The individual must be adapt in understanding complex event flow architectures, partnering with peer organizations, and leading cross-functional teams in this critical role. 

The candidate should possess 5+ years of experience in Network Operations, Engineering, IT operations, and technical product/program management of VoIP and/or Mobility services.

The individual must have a strong background in networking protocols, design, and principles of data and packet based networks.

He/she must possess strong organizational skills, be action oriented, results driven, and work with minimal direction.

Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are critical in this role.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• responsible for building test planning/certification and execution for network/field validation testing in a large telecommunications environment for eCOMP component.
• End to End event flow testing/certification which will require coordination with other teams
• Detail documentation of Test Plan and results
• Develop Method of Procedure for field implementation and NVT
• Attend project meetings to review system and test requirements
• Provide end to end production and escalation support to Operations and Services
