Position: PeopleSoft Developer

Location: Gaithersburg, MD

Duration: 6 Months (Can get extended)

 

 

In person interview required

 

 

The main function of a PeopleSoft Developer is to develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs utilizing PeopleSoft technologies.

A typical developer is responsible for designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required 8+ years experience required Development experience in PeopleSoft Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects.

 

PeopleSoft developer with strong and demonstrated experience in many of the following

Finance modules:

• Asset Management

• Accounts Payables

• General Ledger

• Purchasing

• Treasury Management

• EProcurement

 

Required Qualifications:

• Application Engine, Application Packages, People Code, SQR, latest People Tools, and Oracle SQL

• XML/BI Publisher, Integration Broker, and Component Interface

• Writing technical design documentation, module configuration, code development, code reviews, unit testing, and production implementation

Preferred Qualifications:

• PeopleSoft 9.2 and People Tools 8.54

• Java code development and integration with PeopleSoft
