Job Title:  SharePoint Tech Lead / Senior Developer

Location:  Miami/FL

Duration:  5+ months

Job Description

Must Have Skills:

•             MAPI Program Management Office (PMO) requires SharePoint solutions to automate existing manual processes, implement new SharePoint tools, re-architect MAPI SharePoint sites, and provide general guidance to other MAPI contract personnel.

•             Implement a SharePoint form(s) and associated workflows using tools such as InfoPath to move MAPI business processes out of MS Word forms and into SharePoint automation.  New automation might also require integration with Barrios company-specific processes.

•             Implement SharePoint-based contract metrics, including data collection tools, and associated charts.  One example of charting tools available is Collaboration charts

•             Review existing MAPI site and library usage, and propose/implement a new object storage methodology (e.g., move MAPI from embedded folders into libraries with content types)

•             Review existing MAPI contract SharePoint sites, architect and implement a new MAPI site

•             Provide SharePoint/Excel integration where the existing software licenses allow (e.g., how can we tie an Excel file to a SharePoint list such that updating either one automatically refreshes the other?)

•             Implement SharePoint List enhancements such as the introduction of advanced calculated fields (basic math with conditional calculations based on data in other fields), and list fields displaying color-coded indicators as a means of representing performance data.  Example: A list field that calculates Cum to Date Actual data relative to Cum to Date Planned data, expressed as a % Complete, then a list field that turns Red, Yellow, Green based on the % Complete value.

•             The Cognizant consultant will work with MAPI PMO management as well as MAPI technical personnel.  Some tasks will include MAPI IT personnel in the development and execution of the solutions.
