Position 1)

Job Title : AIX Administrator
Duration : 8 Months+
Location : Charlotte NC

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Skills and Experience:
Entry to mid-level skillsets for: AIX
Basic AIX knowledge .
Level 1 support for AIX Servers
Familiar with Installation of AIX on Servers.
Responsibilities:
1 position - Lead - oversee team, build & config hardware
4 positions - Techs - build & config hardware
Responsibilities:
Level One support for store AIX refresh. Will remotely run scripts to
migrate new IBM blade centers.
Will work Sunday – Thursday in the Night .


Position 2)
Job Title : UNIX/Linux system administrator
Duration : 12 Months+
Location : Mooresville NC

JOB DESCRIPTION:
UNIX/Linux system administrator with following skills/experience:
At minimum, the prospective system administrator should possess proficiency
and three or more years experience system administrating AIX/Linux/VMware
servers in large scale data center environments.
Technical skills and experience in the following domains:
• systems monitoring, management, and administration of enterprise AIX,
Linux (SUSE/Red Hat), WebSphere, and VMware,
• modern networking, security, and storage (SAN, NAS, EMC disk arrays, BCV,
and SRDF) technologies and processes,
• shell scripting or programming, and
• project management, structured analysis, and reporting via tools such as
Microsoft Visio, Excel, Word Project, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
Required Certifications:
• AIX system administration, Linux system administration, and/or WebSphere
system administration.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure the day-to-day availability of the client.'s production,
development, and test systems, monitor enterprise systems, troubleshoot and
manage incidents and problems as far as possible,
develop/document/implement processes and technical solutions, assess the
impact of and consult on low, medium, and high risk production system
changes, support/implement/ changes/upgrades/maintenance,
• Conduct trend analysis with a focus on proactive identification of
events/issues that threaten performance and a consistent & timely
resolution and documentation, analyze system performance indicators and
recommend improvement actions, assist disaster recovery activities, create
and review technical system processes and recovery plans, and help improve
services.
