We are looking for Mainframe QA tester @ NY immediately.
Role: Mainframe QA
Duration: 3+ Months
Location: New York City - New York
H1 copy mandatory
Job description:
The member must have 5+ years of experience in the Industry.
The member should have experience in the below skill sets: System Testing, Enterprise Platform Engineering, Product Testing, Application Lifecycle Management. The added advantage is if the members have experience : Mainframe Products Testing and especially subsystem configuration and setup knowledge.
Members with DB2, CICS, VMS configuration knowledge will be required.
Detailed JD:
- Exposure to Mainframe Application / Product Testing (Mandatory).
- Strong hold on JCL.
- Experience in Batch QA Testing, Panel Testing and Manual Testing.
- Experience in one or more databases: DB2, IMS DB/DC.
- Strong understanding on z/OS Architecture.
- Knowledge on CICS, TCP/IP is preferable.
- Expertise in subsystem configuration and setup DB2, CICS, VMS configuration knowledge will be required.
- Knowledge on z/OS Assembler is preferable.
- Knowledge on various z/OS tools, JCL Utilities, IDCAMS
- Experience in developing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Strategy, Traceability Matrix and Test Environments.
- Excellent understanding of technical processes, knowledge of Software Development life cycle.
