Role: Application Programmer/Developer

Length: 6 months

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Description of Duties:

Duties will include new development projects to build enterprise wide Java applications and other solutions towards commercial motor carrier related systems;

Ongoing support of existing applications; Working with business analysts on enhancements;

•Applicant must have 5-7 actual working experience in the following: JDK 1.5/1.6, Spring framework 3.x/4.x, Apache Struts 2.x, Hibernate 3.x, J2EE 1.4, XML, JSP, Servlets, Junit, log4j, JMS, HTML, JAVASCRIPT, CSS, AJAX

•Applicant must have 5-7 years in web based information systems development; with 3-5 years of which must be with Java on J2EE Architecture (preferably in an Oracle 10g/11g database and Weblogic environment)

•Support and/or develop Java J2EE applications and their integration to databases

•Extensive experience with JSON, JQuery, REST and XML based web services, AJAX

•Must have experience with and programming in SQLPlus, PL/SQL, 3-tier Oracle Weblogic server 11g, Oracle 11g databases

•Experience with UI design and development using HTML/HTML 5, CSS/CSS3, Javascript, JQuery/YUI, Photoshop, Eclipse/ IntelliJ IDEA

•Desirable skills in applying Internet security design standards, knowledge of critical web application security vulnerabilities, able to design and develop highly secure web applications

•Knowledge of designing and developing platform level components including events architectures, messaging a plus

•Experience with build tools such as Maven, Jenkins, SonarCube and Puppet a plus

•Must have experience in leading or participating in projects working in a Agile delivery framework

•Good understanding of Test Driven Development, mocking frameworks, IoC, dependency injection

REQUIRED: Java/related toolset - Advanced/5+ yrs exp.

REQUIRED: Oracle/related toolset - Advanced/5+ yrs exp.
